Ubuntu patches

Just patched up my GNOME panel with the Ubuntu patches. I really like this way of desktop management much better. It sort of reminds me of the Windows XP start menu, but this seems to have so much more class. And once again, my desktop is (almost) icon free!

hrmm I kinda like the idea of the general computer configurations in there own menu, however logout/shutdown stuff shouldn't be in that menu, and neither should help be in the main menu. nor does having 4 main menus seem attractive to me.....

Logout/Shutdown should be. Its a "Computer" menu. And so one of the things you do on the computer is shut it down. Help I can see as no being valid there though. And 4 main menus takes me back to the days of GNOME 1.4 ;). I think these two are fine. Though maybe "About" should be moved to an entry in the panel context menu. But, these are Ubuntu's patches, not mine, so any real changes should be taken up with them.
